Perhaps the best restaurant in the Nashville metro area. Great service, great food, great ambiance (maybe 30 feet from an active rail line). Don't tell anyone. It's crowded enough as it is!
The Depot is a hidden gem! The food is incredible. The steaks are cooked to perfection, and the rest of the menu tastes freshly made. Even the salad is so fresh, I wouldn't doubt they chop it there!

Great service and a variety of food to choose from as well. The food is cooked to order. The salads are fresh with several ingredients. A vegetarian would be happy with the selections as well.
Their menu has something for everyone and even things you don't see every where, for example- smoked duck, and occasional specials that have included Bison or Elk burgers.
Located right next to the train tracks is an added bonus for those who enjoy watching trains.
I love the Depot. Their patty melt is the best! And the sweet potato fries with cinnamon butter to dip in
