I live in montgomery county, however the wait and customer service was horrible back then. that being said, i chose to go here a few years ago to get my license to carry permit. I had such a great experience I returned when it was time for my daughter to get her drivers permit and again when it was time to take the drivers exam. although i am not sure if the climate has changed in montgomery country, i will return to to robertson county soon to renew my permit.

I mean, they can't escape that they're the DMV. Apparently. And you can't either. Not like it's ever busy, so don't sweat that. You will wait, or even be sent away a few times for training purposes. Maybe you'll just get the harassment package 'cause you didn't know arriving a half-hour before the lights go out would cause such heartache. You know, because that's when... they're still open. Unless of course your heathern self believes in Purgatory, then you could call it that. "Hi... Department of Motor Vehicles... No, we're not Open... No, we're not Closed, either. This is Purgatory; you don't wan' come here." Plenty of parking. Plenty of petty authority issues. Make sure you Get Right and go to the Right.
Great service. Super nice. If you're from Montgomery county and thinking of coming our here, its worth the drive. Probably the nicest full staff. Love to help and actually seem like the enjoy their job. I would give 6 starts if I could.
