the room was very clean, we got extra towels when we needed it, breakfast was available, i would recommend anyone to stay there
I stayed here a few months ago and my stay was nice, really nothing to complain about. Me and my husband and son stayed here last night only to be greeted by 100s of roaches. We moved the refrigerator and they scattered EVERYWHERE! when I confronted the manager he offered to debug the room and asked when we could be out during the day. Knowing that this was a one night stay!!!! How does that help any? Needless to say I ended up paying 86 dollars after I was compensated 20$ ! My advice: stay away from the place... not only roaches traces of bedbugs on the seams of the mattresses ! I've been a manager for a long time and to leave a customer this dissatisfied is pitiful! Maybe consider new management and bug free rooms!!!!!!!
Evacuated from Irma here with my dogs. Grateful we had a place that would take us. Was it horrible? No. Was it great? No. Close to stores, which is very good. Beds were comfy, but bring your own pillows. Found a cigarette burn in my sheet, but in the grand scheme of things, not that big of a deal. Biggest complaint is that I locked myself out on accident, went to get a key from the office, and they simply ask for my room number and gave me the key. No name check, no id. And this was not someone I had already met of their staff. Could have asked for any key to any room, and she would have given it to me. I also found a giant dead spider (but in all fairness, maybe it died after they cleaned the room) and a small weird flat bug crawled across my end table. But overall, it was a roof and a bed when I needed it most, and I'm grateful I was able to get a room. Staff was very nice and accommodating. And I love that I could park literally right outside my door. Made unloading/loading and car security super easy.
Property is right in a shopping center. Shoney's customers can look right into my room. We found three bugs in the room. One rode to Hampton Inn with us in our luggage. Breakfast has most common items but everything is on the cheap side. Biscuits are from package, and cold. I would give it 2 stars, had it not called itself a HOTEL and charged $90 a night. It's really a cheap over-prices MOTEL.
Very neat but older hotel. Staff very friendly and helpful and free continental breakfast in the morning.
